Twisted Pixel’s Comic Jumper Revealed at PAX 2009

On Friday at PAX 2009, ‘Splosion Man developer Twisted Pixel revealed their newest game, Comic Jumper, with a humorous trailer that introduces the main characters, Captain Smiley and Star. It’s Twisted Pixel’s third original IP and it will be a downloadable title, but they did not announce the game’s platforms.

The trailer features the filming of the two heroes, Captain Smiley and Star, the latter being stuck to Captain Smiley’s chest. Halfway through the video, it’s revealed that they will travel through different comics during the game, which means that the art style of the game will change with each jump into a new series. Other than that and the likelihood that Comic Jumper is a 2.5D action side-scroller, we don’t know too much. You can check out the trailer for yourself after the jump.
