WARNING: New Donkey Kong Country Returns Trailer Contains Barrels of Nostalgia

The Donkey Kong Country series is probably one of the series I have put more time of my life into than any other game series. The latest trailer does not disappoint for those looking for a quick fix of nostalgia. The music alone is enough to get a blind fan’s blood pumping. If there has ever been a remake that played true to its roots after such a long period of time has passed - Donkey Kong Country Returns so far seems to be getting as close as one can get to that delivery. Looks like one of the Animal Buddies, Rambi the rhinocerous, has returned! I’m excited to find out if there will be new companions and if we’ll see others like Winky and Expresso will be returning.

Check out the trailer below and 20 new screenshots!

Man, I don’t even know if I could say how many hours I spent on the original DKC. We only had a couple of games for our SNES (my mom REFUSED to buy us any for some reason), so I played this to death. So much fun. I am really excited about this revival, and so happy they’re keeping some of the iconic music. I hate it when they re-do old games and ruin the music!!
