Madden NFL 11 is set to release in just a few weeks and EA Sports wants to give their loyal Madden fans a demo that is fitting for one of EA’s biggest franchises. Releasing today on Xbox Live and PSN, the Madden NFL 11 demo is the most “robust” demo to ever be released for the franchise. The demo features full 5 minute quarters, full GameFlow integration, the ability to create offensive and defensive game plans and much more. Voted by the fans, this feature rich demo will have the Indianapolis Colts vs the New York Jets. Check out the full details of what is included in the demo and the new screenshots released today.
The demo will include:
- Teams: Colts vs. Jets
- Stadium: Jets Stadium, East Rutherford NJ – 1:00pm, clear
- Full 5 minute quarters
- All 4 skill levels selectable – Rookie, Pro, All-Pro, All-Madden
- The option to build both an offensive and defensive gameplans
- Unlock “Master Strategist” achievement/trophy in the retail game
- GameFlow or Conventional play call selectable
- CoachSpeak audio and text overlays
- Coaching Tips
The demo will also include full Play-by-Play with Gus Johnson and Cris Collinsworth along with stadium music and team specific chants ( J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!). I think long time Madden fans will enjoy the longer demo as it will give them the chance to check out the improved physics engine and the new controls. Gamers will also get a chance to play with the new GameFlow that will cut down on the game time by half, though I think this feature is best for those who haven’t played a Madden game in a long time. Madden NFL 11 will be releasing on August 10th, one week before pre-season is set to kick off. Let us know what you think about the demo!
