Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 Inbound
Posted by Molotov Cupcake on July 22nd, 2009
While Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare suffers through the rest of its life cycle with only one meager map pack, Call of Duty: World at War is receiving its third additional map pack. Activision has confirmed that there will indeed be an impending release of the cleverly titled Map Pack 3. Like all of the previous map collections, this installment will feature three multiplayer maps to be explored and one brand new zombie map.
While there hasn’t been an exact date set for the release of the upcoming map pack, we do know that the multiplayer maps will be called “Battery,”, “Breach,” (co-developed with Treyarch partner Certain Affinity) and “Revolution.” The zombie map will be known as “Der Riese,” or as us English-speakers would say, “The Giant.” Hmm, what could this mean? Keep checking back at Spawn Kill for more news regarding the maps as well as a future review upon release!

I might have to pick this game up sooner or later. I’m surprised they’ve been releasing these map packs for free on the PC, considering they look more than worth the small amount they’re charging.
