Review: Little King’s Story

Little King’s Story puts you in the shoes of a young man named Corobo, that’s King Corobo to you of course, who has stumbled upon a powerful crown which bestows upon him the power to control an entire kingdom and with it, a populace of carefree followers. It is your responsibility to turn this lackluster land into a glowing kingdom teeming with the little people who look up to and revere you for the almighty king you will soon become.

Preview: JU-ON: The Grudge

July 9th I was able to attend a demo event with publisher of all things niche and intrigue, XSEED Games, in NYC. The title I head out to see that stood at the top of my mind more than any other title to be available for previewing was just this. JU-ON: The Grudge. Lover of all things undead, twisted, and psychotic (Clubbing baby seals? How about clubbing babies and you’ve got me), I was highly anticipating the opportunity to put what is referred to as a haunted-house simulator to the test.

Those of you as excited as I am for the upcoming Wii RPG-adventure, Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, can soak up these newly released screenshots after the break. Those of you in PAL regions can finally rest easy knowing this exciting title will be coming to Europe: Rising Star Games has secured publishing rights, shooting for a Q1 2010 release. The game is already scheduled for release (via XSEED Games) in North America on a similar schedule.

Ah, XSEED games. First you bring me a fantastic DS game in Retro Game Challenge and now you’re bringing me Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga. Some lost sight when you dropped Muramasa: The Demon Blade but I knew you wouldn’t let me down. Now here we are with a brand new game for my starving Wii. You sure know how to please a guy.
