Since Fable III’s release on October 26, 2010, there have been complaints and issues about the game. Lionhead has begun a campaign to rectify this problem - the technical ones, anyway. On Lionhead’s Fable III website, you can find an Issue Report page and give them a detailed account about what technical problems you are experiencing. They go on to say that they are “monitoring this on a daily basis and the test, development and community teams meet on a regular basis to try and repro issues that come up, so the development team can fix it for the next update we’ll release.” Although the process for this is slow with no ETA, they ensure us that it will get looked at.

Apparently, our modern day technology has advanced to the point that animation can appear as realistic as we want it to be. This can be said for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Treyarch’s seventh installment of the series has changed the way they do facial animation, but it has gotten to the point where it appeared too real. As animation director, Dominique Drozdz, puts it, “It was a contextual kill where you were twisting the neck. It was too much. The throat cutting [is] nasty, but that was worse.”

Because of this, Treyarch had to scale back and tailor the game to a more acceptable range. What do you think? Should they have done that or would you have been happier to see how far they could go?

Rez was a rail-shooter game that was set in a futuristic computer “supernetwork”. It was originally released by Sega, then on the Dreamcast, PS2, and finally the Xbox 360. Now what makes this game so popular is the uniqueness that it brings - like all shooter games there is the gunfire but instead of the typical sound effects, it’s replaced by electronic music.

Well roughly two years ago there had been news that there would be a Rez sequel under the codename “Project LMNO” directed by the ever-popular Steven Spielberg under the guiding hand of EA. For two years there hasn’t been much news about the development until finally this comes along - “EA has ceased development of LMNO”. (more…)

With the Halo: Reach beta hitting in less than two weeks, it’s prime time for Bungie to let everyone in on what to expect for its upcoming retail release in the Fall. As with Halo 3, Halo: Reach will be offered in three different retail iterations: Standard, Limited and Legendary.
