Let me just say that I was absolutely blown away by the response to the contest we ran from last week to today asking you all to describe your ideal Nazi Zombie map. Wow. Exhaustive effort, everyone!

I wish I had enough keys to pass out to every single one of you who entered, but alas, I only have a few to hand out. This is just a quick notice to let everyone know that I have selected the winners, and am currently contacting everyone via e-mail. Get ready to check your inbox for a personal note from brittany@spawnkill.com. Thank you to everyone who registered and everyone who came to visit for the first time! Be sure to keep coming back to Spawn Kill for more reviews, news, contests, and more of us sticking our boomsticks where they never belong.

Posted by Molotov Cupcake on August 14th, 2009

oshLove ‘em or hate ‘em, you can’t dispute the success of both the Call of Duty: World at War map packs or the game itself. I had a few short questions to offer up the very gracious Josh Olin, community manager of Treyarch, about some various WaW-related topics and he was nice enough to respond with some very candid and informative answers that I think all of you World at War fans should enjoy. So, call the dogs! We’re sitting down with Josh Olin. Stick around here at Spawn Kill afterward, and you might be able to win a little something, too!

Map Pack 2Map Pack 1 for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: World at War was an instant hit. The map pack ended up selling over 2 million downloads from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 combined. Those new maps, in my opinion, added a much needed boost to the online multiplayer in World at War. Now only a couple of months after the release of Map Pack 1 we are getting Map Pack 2 which includes another 3 new maps and a new zombie map.
