Xenogears and More Classics Coming to PSN

It appears that a few more of Square-Enix's classics are going to make their way onto the North American PlayStation Network in the near future. The ESRB has recently rated several classic PlayStation One titles which would indicate their eventual release on the network. Among the titles rated were Xenogears, which hit stores originally in 1998 and Vagrant Story, originally released in 2000. Other notable titles include R4 Ridge Racer Type 4 from Namco and Arc The Lad III from Working Designs.

Do You Remember Vagrant Story?

Do you remember Vagrant Story? I would hope so. Vagrant Story, developed by Square, came out during what I refer to as the Golden Era of 32-bit RPGs, the years 1996 through 2000. Receiving a rare perfect score from Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, Vagrant Story was leaps and bounds beyond its competition in terms of graphics, art style, and game mechanics. (more...)
