How does one review a game that is obviously flawed to the point of cracking, yet shows signs of brilliance comparable to some of our best games? I’m going to try, and in that effort I’m honestly going to attempt to convince an audience to play Alpha Protocol. Alpha Protocol has been pretty under the radar this year, mostly due to its multiple push-backs, but they released a new trailer today showcasing some of Michael Thorton’s stealthier and hackier moments. I’m going to be straight here and admit that the graphics look a little dated, but that honestly won’t bother me if the game-play is as good as they’ve hinted it might be. I also am a fan of sneaking, and Thorton does plenty of that in the video. Anyway, check it out.

Anyone else notice the completely digital version of Oblivion’s lock-picking system? Also getting a real Hitman vibe from the trailer. Neither of these comparisons is bad! The game hits June 1st (probably).
