E3 ’10: Hands and Feet-On with Dance Dance Revolution
As a long-time fan of the Eurobeat-styled Dance Dance Revolution franchise, I've been skeptical and unhappy with the recent years' bombardment of Britney Spears and Sean Paul-style music that the older style has been slowly replaced by. Never having experienced motion controls before added to the DDR mix, I took a shot at the charming DJ Naoki song called "Let's Get Away" to see if the franchise can be redeemed for the fans who prefer the Eurobeat jams from the not-so-recent releases.

E3 ’10: Hands-On with Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove
Upon setting foot the first day of E3 in the massive South Hall, Natsume was the first appointment on my planner for the day. The Natsume booth was plenty easy to spot with the huge Harvest Moon farm animal display and the adorable statue and displays (see bottom picture!) set up for Natsume's recently announced rhythm game Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove . With its cutesy gothic-lolita-during-Halloween style attached to it, this game is unbearably adorable, and sure to be addictive, to say the least.

Rock Band Network Has Arrived
Harmonix hit gamers with a bombshell today announcing the availibility of the much anticipated Rock Band Network. The Network debuts in its beta stage, but will be open to musicians and those looking to upload or playtest music. That synthesizer remix of "Never Gonna Give You Up"? Rhythm Tengoku Gold Coming To DS In The US
If you love rhythm games, I guarantee you will become addicted to "Rhythm Tengoku Gold", (known as "Rhythm Heaven" outside of Japan), when it hits the US on April 5. I attempted to play an imported Japanese version, but it proved to be difficult after a certain point since I couldn't read the directions to any of the mini games. However, the games that I did manage to get through were extremely addicting and incredibly enjoyable. (more...)
