Xbox LIVE Reward Program Launched
Microsoft has officially launched the Xbox LIVE Rewards program, a program which Microsoft had been evaluating for several months. The program works how you would imagine: you purchase things via LIVE and are rewarded points. Users are rewarded Microsoft points for purchasing content, renewing memberships, using Netflix, and participating in Xbox LIVE surveys. The points can then be used to purchase items from the marketplace or to renew your subscription to Xbox LIVE.

Yesterday (June 30) marked the last day of the Club Nintendo year, so today Nintendo officially announced this year's club rewards. For those of you who dutifully purchased first-party products and registered them through Nintendo's website, if you qualified for the Gold level, you'll be taking home (another) desk calendar featuring Nintendo artwork.
For those of you with deep enough pockets (or who are just die-hard Nintendo fans) to earn Platinum status, this year's reward is pretty sweet: a Mario (and company) figurine.

White Knight Chronicles gets closer and closer as we pine away and envy the fact that Japan has had this game for months already. Despite it being out for some time now in the Land of the Rising Sun, Level-5 is still adding new features to the game!
