Rumor: PSP2 Releasing Fall 2011?

Although Sony is not talking and has not offered any comment meant for publication, there have been rumors from various sources about the development of a PSP2. From what we can pinpoint, the new PSP2 will be a larger size with a touch panel and a bigger screen that is rumored to be HD. Concerning hardware, there is nothing that can be said - only that Sony is still dealing with issues concerning a balance between its power, battery, and heat. However, from what we gather the PSP2 will be a step up to its predecessor's design. A touch screen may put it in competition with tablet PCs, iTouch/iPad/iPhones and of course the DS. Not to mention the bigger screen. Who can say no to a larger, HD screen for portable gaming?
