Bethesda has recently released the details pertaining to their pre-sell bonuses for their upcoming co-op title Hunted: The Demon’s Forge. Four different packs have been announced (Darkset, Griffin, Assassin, and Demon) each for one of four different game retailers. Each of the packages also contain four different strikingly different bonuses.

I’ve been dreaming about this game for over a year now, back when we had very little more than a few Japanese screens and a trailer, back when it was still titled simply Fragile. Newly billed as Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, at last we have English screens and a North American release date: March 2010 (exclusively for Wii).

bayonettaBayonetta with her sexy, bootstrappingly dangerous fatal attraction promises a kiss of death to U.S. gamers when it launches with the new official release date of January 5, 2010. Pre-order items are not yet detailed, but Sega assures they are in the works. Hopefully Sega plans an actual reward for pre-ordering! These days I’ve felt cheated with in-game download codes, hardly as exciting as a tangible keychain, plush, or art book to boast your true fanboyisms with.

Sega is amped and ready for Bayonetta’s release — especially because of her welcoming review in Japan. Famitsu slapped Bayonetta on the behind with a striking 40/40 for the Xbox 360 version (38/40 for the PS3 version). A perfect score. Famitsu is not one to just dish any ol’ Joe or Mac with a perfect score, so Bayonetta may just have that something…

Left 4 Dead 2’s looms overhead as it will hits shelves next month on the Xbox 360 and Windows platform. To reel more potential customers into getting the sequel to last year’s hit zombie slaughterfest, Valve will offer early access to the L4D2 demo for anyone that pre-orders via Steam or participating retailers (everyone else gets the demo on the 27th of this month). And of course, buying the game on Steam will net you a 10% discount.

In addition to the early demo access, those who pre-order will get an exclusive in-game American baseball bat. No one knows exactly what this means; is the baseball bat exclusive to pre-order customers or is it just a reskin of the baseball bat we’ve already seen? Well in any case, those are your incentives. Get to buying so that I can incapacitate you we can play together.

While the DS is host to a long list of RPGs, most of these are fairly traditional, with most taking a retro SNES style or a more modern, third-person, 3D view. However, Big Blue Bubble is bringing first-person action RPG to Nintendo’s handheld. For those of you who’ve always dreamed of having an Oblivion-esque experience on the go, your prayers may have been answered in the soon-to-be released Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, based on the choose-your-own adventure novel of the same title.

It seems like every high profile game comes hand in hand with pre-order bonuses nowadays, especially at GameStop. Sony’s MAG is no exception, with a different pre-order bonus at three (and possibly one more) participating retailers. Those who order at GameCrazy will receive an exclusive RAVEN in-game character while those who pre-order at Amazon will receive the “S.V.E.R. PlayStation Home Personal Space,” which is basically an apartment of sorts for PlayStation Home. The VALOR in-game character will accompany pre-orders at an unknown retailer.

GameStop, as usual, has something extra to add into their deal. Not only do pre-orderers receive the S.V.E.R. in-game character, but they also get to participate in the MAG public beta that starts on October 12. Those who pre-order at GameStop can play during specific play windows from then until the beta servers will always be online after November 9 (at least until the beta ends!).

Many games seem to be arriving with pre-order bonuses in hand, and Need for Speed: Shift is no exception. If you reserve the title at GameStop, you will receive exclusive access to the BMW E92 M3 GT2. This bonus is available for both online and in-store pre-orders, as long as it’s at GameStop.

Here’s also a little snippet of gameplay footage primarily featuring the BMW E92 M3 GT2. All I have to say is that it looks like a sweet car. Watch it after the jump.

blurProject Gotham Racing and Geometry Wars developer Bizarre Creations’ newest title Blur is supposed to race onto store shelves for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in November. Best Buy, GameCrazy, and GameStop have pre-order bonuses in store for you, although they’re not exactly equal in their worth.

Unfortunately, you read the headline of this post correctly. If you have the presence of mind to pre-order Scribblenauts, then you’ll receive this mind-numbingly useless rooster hat. Instead of something…you know, useful? At the very least the Klonoa hat is wearable.

In any case, if you head on down to EB Games or GameStop in either the United States or Canada, this goofy-looking piece of memorabilia can indeed be yours. Rejoice now and tremble with joy. You know what I’m getting when I preorder The Beatles: Rock Band? I can’t decide which offer yet, but I can guarantee I will get more use out of either pre-order deal I choose.

Scribblenauts is shaping up to be some kind of awesome. If you haven’t been following 5th Cell’s exploits up until super-important gaming jernalizts told you to care about this game, then go purchase Drawn to Life and Lock’s Quest right now. We’ll wait.

Demon Souls for PS3 has been given a solidified release date for North American RPG fans (and buyers of all games Atlus) along with some treats for those good little demons who pre-order early. In effort to keep the importers at bay, Atlus reveals that there will be a deluxe edition and a standard edition hitting shelves on October 6th of this year, retailing at $59.99 for the standard, and $69.99 for the deluxe edition.

halo3_odst_bonuslgHalo 3: ODST doesn’t come out until September but we already have details on some pre-order goodies and what gamers can expect from the Special Edition bundle. The highly anticipated shooter features a brand new campaign, telling the story of the events leading up to the first Halo from an ODST perspective. The game will also feature a Firefight mode, which is a new cooperative multiplayer game mode. In Firefight you will have to work together to fend off waves and waves of increasingly difficult enemies. To add to the difficulty random skulls will be turned on as rounds are completed.

If that wasn’t enough to entice you to get the new Halo game, Microsoft is offering up some extras for you. Upon pre-ordering the game you will get a code to use Sergeant Avery Junior Johnson in the Firefight mode. Sergeant Johnson is one of most popular characters in the Halo series. Everyone who buys the game will also get a standalone Halo 3 disc with all 24 maps included and a beta key for the recently announced Halo: Reach.

No one I know is more hyped for BrĂĽtal Legend than I am. The game promises to bring the twisted imaginings of Tim Schafer to my television set, and to me, that alone is worth $60. Now as we all know, GameStop loves money. They want you to buy BrĂĽtal Legend from them. In order to entice the masses, GameStop is offering a Tenacious D themed guitar for use in the game to anyone who pre-orders before October 13th, the video games release date. Hit the jump for more info on this rocking DLC.
