PES 2011 Patch Going Live on December 21; Free DLC Coming Soon

KONAMI today announced that the latest free update for the PlayStation 3 version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 will be available on December 21, 2010. The update looks to fix numerous issues which includes Defender AI, shooting and throw-ins. They also announced that a free DLC pack will be releasing soon for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The DLC will bring new kits, which includes the Ireland national team and various French club teams, and will bring some more licensed boots to the game. Konami to Hold Live Stream for This Year’s Pro Evolution Soccer Finals

Konami today announced the first-ever live stream of this year's Pro Evolution Soccer Finals being held in Spain on September 25. The event features 40 of the best players from twenty-three countries including Mexico, Spain, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, the UK, France, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Korea, and the United States.

Konami Announces Snake Eater 3D, Others

Like many of the bigger developers, Konami has been quick to start work with Nintendo's new 3DS hardware. The biggest news from Konami is the announcement of Hideo Kojima's Snake Eater 3D: The Naked Sample. This 'sample' of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is aligned to show off the capacity for stealth using 3D-capable systems.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 Teaser Trailer and New Screens

Earlier this month the first details about PES 2011 were released, and at that time it looked like Konami sought to bring better control, smarter AI, better goalkeeping, improved animations, and much more. Today they released the first teaser trailer and screenshots showing off the new freedom-based control scheme and a whole lot of Lionel Messi. Check it out!
