Yesterday the Need for Speed team unveiled a new trailer that showcases one of the new, eagerly anticipated features in Hot Pursuit. The trailer shows off Seacrest County’s fleet of police interceptors, all of which will be at the player’s disposal if they decide to turn in their life of crime and become a boy (or girl) in blue. Unlike the previous Hot Pursuit, this time around players will get to choose which side of the law they’d like their supercharged cars to be on.

The Need for Speed series has had its ups and downs when it comes to the gameplay. That being said there has always been one consistent positive: the cars. With an uncanny ability to give players the chance to sit behind realistic representations of their favorite real life cars, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is likely to be no different. Below you’re going to find the top ten cars I’m excited for in the newest game, based solely off their real life counterparts. With the Need for Speed crew’s attention to the most minute of details this time around, I’m sure this list wont change at all once I play the game itself.

The trophy list has finally been given the “green light” for the eagerly anticipated Need for Speed title Hot Pursuit. It’s assumed that the 51 trophies will correspond with the Xbox 360 achievements as well. The list runs the gamut of the standard “progress” awards, and include some specialized fare like driving a Corvette on a wet road or busting a cop car while driving a Dodge Viper or a Shelby GT500 Supersnake.
