Mass Effect 3 Engine Used In PS3 Version of Mass Effect 2

The Playstation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 will look much better than its Xbox 360 counterpart. BioWare has already been on record stating that they wanted the PS3 version to be more than just a port. In a recent BioWare podcast discussing Mass Effect 2, it was revealed that Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 is using the same engine used in all versions of Mass Effect 3.

Mass Effect 2 Demo Coming to PS3 Next Week

Ps3 owners, wait no longer. Massive sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 2 has a new demo releasing for Ps3 on December 21. Although the game is set to be released January 18, this demo should give reluctant gamers a taste of what the hype is all about. In related news, EA also announced that the sequel, Mass Effect 3, will be releasing simultaneously for all platforms next Holiday season. [Source: EA]

VGA 2010 World Premiere Trailers

Did you miss out on this year’s Video Game Awards? If you did then we got all the World Premier trailers for you right here. A few of the trailers were teased before the awards show (Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham City, and Resistance 3), but there were still some surprises. Forza Motorsport 4, Portal 2, Elder Scrolls V and SSX: Deadly Descents were just a few of those surprises. BioWare debuted their Mass Effect 3 trailer and while everyone knew another Mass Effect was coming, I think we can all agree that it’s Holiday 2011 release is a welcome surprise.
