Treyarch definitely knows how to keep their fans happy. Though they have dealt with a very lukewarm reception to Call of Duty: World at War overall, they have done a spectacular job keeping their fans interested and involved by releasing three map packs to augment the game to date. We’ve covered every single one of them here at Spawn Kill, and now the third map pack review has rolled around. It can easily be summed up in one word: fantastic. This might just be the best map pack yet out of the three, mainly because of the phenomenal improvements made to the Nazi Zombie map in this go-around. In all, it’s a fiendishly fun addition to your map pack collection that you’ll want to fire up again and again. Just make sure to keep bathing.

Tomorrow you’ll be able to download and get your World at War on, but until then you can make do with the official launch trailer after the jump! This is the third set of DLC maps for the fifth Call of Duty title, and will feature (as usual) three new multiplayer maps: “Revolution,” “Breach,” and “Battery,” as well as an explosive new zombie map, “Der Riese!” Keep tuning in to Spawn Kill for a review of the map pack and a possible giveaway coming soon! If you enjoy collecting achievements as much as you enjoy collecting the subsequent World at War map packs, then prepare to get to work! The brand new set of maps comprised of one zombie playground and three new multiplayer maps has ten new achievements tagging along to drive you perfectionists all kinds of crazy. These achievements reveal some interesting aspects of the new maps: you should rejoice that you’ll be able to get your knife on, make use of some kind of wacky teleporter, and employ some mad piece of technology known as a Monkey Bomb. While Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare suffers through the rest of its life cycle with only one meager map pack, Call of Duty: World at War is receiving its third additional map pack. Activision has confirmed that there will indeed be an impending release of the cleverly titled Map Pack 3. Like all of the previous map collections, this installment will feature three multiplayer maps to be explored and one brand new zombie map.
