Looks like the talented team behind Super Stardust HD, and more recently, Dead Nation, won't be taking a break anytime soon. Apart from their upcoming, Ubisoft-published, ground-based shmup: Outland, the Finnish developers are already being financially backed for their next project.

Dead Nation Tips and Tricks

Yesterday the PlayStation Blog released some tips and tricks to help people survive the zombie apocalypse in Dead Nation. Much like their previous title, Dead Nation gets exponentially harder as you move up in difficulty levels; especially when playing co-op. These helpful tips highlight some key gameplay features that some might not be aware of and it could change the way some people play the game. Voice Chat Coming Soon to Dead Nation

Everyone knows it can be challenging to play co-op, especially in an action title, without voice chat functionality. While many PS3 users will use skype, it's always nice when a game has that functionality built-in. The folks at Housemarque, developer of Dead Nation, have heard the call and plan to implement Voice Chat for online co-op in the near future.

Review: Dead Nation

The first thing people might say when they see Dead Nation is “ugh, another zombie game,” and completely dismiss it. Don’t be one of those people! In a time where a zombie television show is one of the most popular series on TV, Dead Nation couldn’t have been released at a better time. Coming from the makers of Super Stardust HD, Housemarque, this zombie shooter employs some of the same gameplay mechanics that made Stardust a big hit. But what really sets Dead Nation apart from all the other top-down twin stick shooters is a combination of intense action, an excellent horror atmosphere, and a weapon upgrade system that adds plenty of replay value.
