Gears of War 3 Beta Coming in The Spring
It was previously reported how the Limited Edition version of Bulletstorm (for 360) will grant players access to the Gears of War 3 beta. In an interview with Gamespot, Epic Games President, Mike Capps, spoke about how the plan is to release the beta in the spring, with April looking likely.

Cliff Bleszinski , Design Director for Epic Games, the company behind the Unreal and Gears of War franchises has promised Gears of War fans a huge announcement next week at the Video Game Awards show. The news came from a video by Bleszinski posted on SPIKE. In the 19-second teaser, Bleszinski promises new gameplay footage that "will be awesome, you're gonna love it," and adding that, " its not what you're expecting."

After his family members died in the first two games, Epic has decided to let the fans decide Clayton Carmine's fate in Gears of War 3. Well, the fans are voting, and so far it looks like they want him to actually survive. To let the fans decide Carmine's fate, Epic released two t-shirts made for Xbox 360 avatars -- one saying "Carmine Must Die," and the other saying "Carmine Must Live" to toss their vote in with. Although the majority vote is saying that Carmine Must Live, there is still time to change this soldier's fate.
