Gears of War 3 Beta Coming in The Spring

It was previously reported how the Limited Edition version of Bulletstorm (for 360) will grant players access to the Gears of War 3 beta. In an interview with Gamespot, Epic Games President, Mike Capps, spoke about how the plan is to release the beta in the spring, with April looking likely.

Gears of War Announcement Coming That Will “Have Everyone Talking”

Cliff Bleszinski , Design Director for Epic Games, the company behind the Unreal and Gears of War franchises has promised Gears of War fans a huge announcement next week at the Video Game Awards show. The news came from a video by Bleszinski posted on SPIKE. In the 19-second teaser, Bleszinski promises new gameplay footage that "will be awesome, you're gonna love it," and adding that, " its not what you're expecting."

Gears fans, you might want to listen up! Have you always envied the armor that the COGs sport throughout the titles (even the poor younger Carmine)? It's been revealed by Cliff Bleszinski and Rod Fergusson of Epic at at the Comic-Con 2009 panel that Gears of War armor will soon be coming to the Xbox Live Avatar Marketplace. Bring on the negativity, say that you don't understand the reasoning behind spending cash on clothing for avatars you barely use, but as for me, this is quite a welcome change from fugly mismatched skirts and unnecessary Kanye glasses.
