Steven Spielberg’s Project LMNO Cancelled

Rez was a rail-shooter game that was set in a futuristic computer "supernetwork". It was originally released by Sega, then on the Dreamcast, PS2, and finally the Xbox 360. Now what makes this game so popular is the uniqueness that it brings - like all shooter games there is the gunfire but instead of the typical sound effects, it's replaced by electronic music.

Well roughly two years ago there had been news that there would be a Rez sequel under the codename "Project LMNO" directed by the ever-popular Steven Spielberg under the guiding hand of EA. Kennedy may be a teenage girl's knight in zombie gut-stained armor now, but he wasn't always such a looker who rolled with Umbrella's punches as slickly as the bad puns and bingo jokes. Once upon a time in Raccoon City, he was a rookie cop whose first day on the job ended in city-wide decimation. He slogged through grimy sewers, followed a corporation's blood trail, befriended Redfield's sister ... and fell for one dangerous lady in red.

Review: Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Fighters are always strange beasts. They come in many different forms with different physics, enormous rosters of characters, and some of the most difficult moves to pull off, especially if you're without one of the coveted fight sticks that many die-hard fans have sprung the cash for. Personally I like to dabble in various fighters just to get my feet wet and to find the series where my allegiances will lie in the future. I still haven't decided on just one yet (and I of course don't have to) but I've been investigating the Fatal Fury franchise quite a bit lately, and have recently jumped into Garou: Mark of the Wolves, a recent Xbox Live Arcade incarnation of the Neo-Geo classic. Is it worth a purchase? You'll have to read on to find out. (more...)
