No 3D Support for Twisted Metal
Want to know what Sackboy and Sweet Tooth have in common? They both aren’t ready to step into the world of 3D gaming yet. We learned not too long ago that LittleBigPlanet 2 wouldn’t be supporting 3D. The lack of such a feature came as a surprise, due to LittleBigPlanet being one of Sony’s big franchises. Well, now we have another franchise to add to the “No 3D” camp: Twisted Metal.

If holiday 2011 seems too far away, you can console yourself that in only a few months you can relive (or experience for the first time) Team Ico's beautiful original works, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, both remastered in HD and available on one shiny blu-ray disc this coming Spring. Like the God of War Collection, this PS2 re-release will include both games on one disc, in full HD, with trophy support. Additionally, the wordy Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection will also support 3D for those of you lucky enough to have the proper equipment.

With E3 fast approaching, and details about the mysterious new Nintendo handheld still scarce, this bit of news sheds just a little bit of curious light on the new platform. Apparently, Nintendo of Japan has trademarked the terms "3DS," "3DSPlay," and "3DSWare." This all seems to fit into line with the existing DSiWare, WiiWare, and so on. But didn't Nintendo recently denounce the system would be called the 3DS when it finally came out? Perhaps this is just to protect the brand and prevent anyone else from releasing a 3DS named device.
