New Qore Video Reveals PSP Go
Posted by IcyStorm on May 30th, 2009
For a while there have been many rumors regarding a new PSP, the latest of them being a UMD-less, flash memory-based device called the PSP Go. It seems that particular rumor was correct. The Qore June 2009 video reveals the PSP Go. With it we also have confirmation of PSP versions of LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo and a new Metal Gear title.
The new PSP Go most noticeably has a slide-out design; the controls sit underneath the screen when not in use. It will also contain 16GB of internal flash memory as well as a memory slot (presumably Memory Stick Duo) for extra space. It includes Bluetooth and a built-in store to purchase and rent games and other media such as TV shows.
The PSP Go is slated for a fall 2009 release but is not supposed to replace the current PSP-3000. But we know how that strategy worked out for the DS and the GBA, right?
