“Lucidity”, Now Flavored With PC!

I often lament my status as a non-Xbox 360 owner simply because if there’s one thing Microsoft’s beast does well, it’s downloadable games. All other platforms combined don’t retain the quality and breadth of Live’s Arcade. The PC might come close, however, and it will now become even closer with today’s news that LucasArts’ newest indie production Lucidity will be hitting the PC as well as Xbox Live. This gamer couldn’t be happier!
We’ve also been privvy to a simply fantastic video showcasing some more gameplay and a bit of a cutscene as well. Hit the jump to check it out.
Though we know precious little, the game reminds me of some type of Red Riding Hood re-imagining, with a little Tim Burton, and perhaps a dash of Lemmings thrown in. Also GOD. The music alone has me tingling with anticipatory glee. Whatch’you think?
LucasArts has plans to release Lucidity as early as October 7th of this year. Hopefully it won’t cost 30 bucks (*cough* Trine *cough*).
