The new Captain America game has been taking part of the comic-to-game-to-movie recent uprising and was glorified on multiple screens at the Sega booth during New York Comic-Con. I stopped to ooh and ahh a bit, and grabbed some footage of the gameplay one of the developers was showing off during the show. It flows really smooth and has a lot of an Arkham Asylum feel to the combat, which was pretty fluid so I don’t think that can really hurt the Captain. Check out the video below and let us know what you think of this avenger’s upcoming 2011 debut! (more…)

Have an Android OS device? Want to play Rovio’s hit game Angry Birds? Well, you’re in luck: the game has launched for android and is currently available for free. That’s right, not $0.99, but $0. Nada.

Considering how addictive and fun this game is, it’s definitely worth a download - that is, if you can get through. Demand has been so high that Rovio had to take its site down. But don’t despair, you can still download the game for android (or other devices), just follow the links on their site’s temporary page. (more…)

THQ’s Wii peripheral drawing tablet, uDraw, has a US release date: November 14. The peripheral will retail for $69.99 and include uDraw Studio. However, you can also purchase two other compatible games for $30 each: Pictionary and Dood’s Big Adventure.

If that doesn’t seem like enough incentive to purchase the table, THQ promises that more compatible titles are expected throughout 2011, although no titles were given.

Personally, I think this is a really interesting concept, it’s just a bit disappointing that Nintendo hasn’t partnered to produce a new version of Mario Paint.

When I first saw Slam Bolt Scrappers at PAX East I was really impressed with what the team at Fire Hose Games was doing with the Tetris formula but it’s nothing like that puzzle game. They describe it as part brawler and part strategy. This unique title is built for multiplayer action but it also has a lengthy co-op campaign. Today the PlayStation Blog released a new video featuring Eitan Glinert of Fire Hose Games, explaining how the co-op campaign works and how the 2-on-2 battle mode plays out. Check it out!

Did you never take part in Guybrush Threepwood’s latest TellTale adventures? If so, now may be the perfect time to jump into his crazy, silly world. For a limited time, Steam is offering the complete series for only $4.99 - that’s only 1/7 of the retail cost of $35.

It’s not clear how long this deal will last, but my guess is it’s probably limited to the weekend, so you might want to snag it now before the deal is gone.

In case you have your doubts about the series, they got an average review score of 8.1 from yours truly. So seriously, buy it already.
