Sims Medieval Trailer, Limited Edition Now Available for Pre-Order

Information is still scant as to how exactly The Sims Medieval will play; it isn't clear whether the game will play more like The Sims we all know and love, or more like an RPG with some sim elements. Still, for fans of the franchise, we still have a few months before release, and EA has spoiled us with a new trailer and details of the Limited Edition early adopters will have a chance to purchase come March.

PlayStation Store Update: December 21, 2025 Thumbnail

PlayStation Store Update: December 21, 2025

Sony has a huge update to celebrate Christmas, it seems, with plenty of titles on sale, along with some goodies (and exclusive sales) for PlayStation Plus members. You can snag Valkyria Chronicles 2 for only $15.99, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for $9.99 (even less if you have PlayStation Plus), or Shank for $9.99, just to name a few. Some of these price drops are permanent, some are for this week only, but definitely a few good deals to be had. I know I may finally pick up Blue Toad Murder Files, as the complete set is now just $15.

If that isn't enough, you can try out the Mass Effect 2 demo, or get the full copy of Borderlands. Or if you're looking for a laugh, try Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, now available for the first time for PS3. This week also sees the release of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and echochrome ii, not to mention more demos for Dead Space 2 and LBP2. Certainly plenty to keep you busy over the next week or so.

Hit the break for the full list of releases, updates, and price drops.

Review: Soap Opera Dash Thumbnail

Review: Soap Opera Dash

The response to hearing about a new DASH game is pretty much the same, regardless of who is hearing the news: "Another DASH game?" The difference is the tone in which that statement is made. Either it's one of surprised disgust, confusion, or excitement. If you fall into the last of these categories, keep reading, as Soap Opera Dash is the latest in the franchise from PlayFirst, and one that strives to yet again take the series in a new direction. If you found games like Hotel Dash and Cooking Dash interesting diversions from the main food-delivery series we know and love, then Soap Opera Dash may be right up your alley, so stay tuned.

Dragon Quest VI Official: Releases Feb 14, 2026

About a month ago, it looked like a European or North American release for the only Dragon Quest game to not yet see Western shores was doubtful. XBLM Sales Next Week: Save 33-50% Thumbnail

XBLM Sales Next Week: Save 33-50%

It's that time of the year - money is tight, whether it's because you've been out gifting everyone, or because the economy is in a rather unpleasant state right now (to be very British about it). Either way, a lot of great XBLA games have been released that you may not have been able to afford at full price. You're in luck, because Microsoft is having a year-end sale on some of it's big titles. Sadly, Limbo is not among the discounts, but Super Meat Boy is if you missed the release sale in October/November. Hit the break for the full list of discounts, which run December 21 - 31.

3DS Carts Have Up to 8GB Capacity

According to some digging by Tiny Cartridge, the 3DS cartridge capacity may not be so tiny. While the current range of DS games is from 32MB to 512MB, according to several sources, the 3DS carts may have a capacity up to 8GB. For comparison, a standard UMD (used in Sony's PSP handheld) holds 1.8 GB of data.
