Rumor: Marvel vs Capcom 3 Leaked Information Looking Likely: Details on Boss Fights and More

If Marvel vs Capcom 3’s leaker is correct, then here’s the scoop on what’s left of the characters, final bosses, and other details of the game. Leaking information via his Twitter feed, Lance Lingos (@lupinko) has released correct information about upcoming characters and information thus far. Claiming to be someone that was the inside and having playtested the game, he is spoiling the public before Capcom has a chance to announce new arrivals.

The game is a little over a month away, so the heavy stuff has been kept under wraps, but @lupinko has given fans the details early. If he is can keep up his streak, @lupinko may be credited as being right all this time.

According to the leaker, the final boss is a three-parter. You will fight Sliver Wesker and Sliver Doom (which are the same as if you fought them normally; no drastically overpowered stats), then the planet-eating Galactus will join after you best them in battle. But don’t expect Onslaught boss level of difficulty. Sadly, Galactus and his over-sized hand will not be playable.

Another Darkstalkers character named Hsien-Ko is joining the fray. The ghostly apparition is known for tossing out various weapons and objects at her opponents and will be able to run in the air just as she was able to in her previous games. One more return in the form of tier-favorite is the robot Sentinel, and will be better balanced this time.

Endings are done in the form of two pictures per character, and it’s for whoever landed the last attack. After completion, you earn characters, while other things are earned differently. The game awards unlockables based on play time. And yes, that includes Versus time. As for the future of Marvel vs Capcom 3, there aren’t any plans for DLC characters outside of Jill and Shuma at the moment. So the chance of characters being hidden on the disc is slim.
