Lionhead Adds New Free and Purchaseable Content to Fable III

Lionhead is giving away free Santa hats to download for all heroes of Albion this year, which has gone live on the Xbox Marketplace already. Also added was not new content or quests again yet, but an add-on that adds new breeds to morph yer pooch into if you’re tired of old Lassie. The three new breeds available are the fluffy annoyingly-groomed Poodle, an evilly cute Doberman and a German Shepard, which for whatever reason is referred to as an Alastian in your breed settings.

Apparently an Alastian is another term for a German Shepard, back in World War II they tried to rename it all around the world to drop the use of the word “German” in most phrases/names etc. and Alastian was the name used in England and many other European countries, if that name is even still used.

The newest Dog Breed Pack for Fable III is available on the Marketplace for 240 Microsoft Points ($3) - kind of pricey for just dog breeds and no quests to keep you busy along with yer new post-op pooch.
