Kratos Will Guest Star in Upcoming Mortal Kombat
Kratos and Mortal Kombat: they both complement each other quite well, don’t they? So, it makes sense to include him in the upcoming Mortal Kombat, right? Latest reports coming from the Official PlaySation Magazine indicate this to be the case. The magazine states how Kratos will serve as an exclusive character for the PS3 version of next year’s gore-fest. He won’t be playable in the game’s story mode though, but he will be freely available for any versus affairs.
With all the blood-soaked adventures Kratos has embarked on since his inception, he should feel right at home among Mortal Kombat’s roster. They should fear him though; I mean, the man has taken down Gods. Something tells me he’s going for Raiden’s head first, but that’s just me.
This revelation poses a very interesting possibility. With Kratos serving as Sony’s exclusive character for the upcoming fighter, will Microsoft get one as well? And if so, who should it be? I can’t see their biggest icon, Master Chief, fitting in well within the Mortal Kombat universe. I could see Gears of War protagonist Marcus Fenix as a potential exclusive character for the 360 version of the game. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
