Lame Castle Now Available on iTunes

I’m sure many remember Sony had aired a young, quite annoying PSP spokesperson named Marcus who bashed iPhone gaming in favor of PSP gaming, joking about a fictional game called Lame Castle. In response, one developer decided to create a game inspired by that commercial.

Brad Johnson, formerly of Crystal Dynamics, developed a “runner” type game with the name Lame Castle. The fun title has you riding a wooden horse as you jump over obstacles and boost through targets to get points. And what is even better is the price of this game. Available on iTunes for $0.99, it is definitively cheaper than it would be if it was released as a “PSP Mini.”

As a fan of the “runner” games like this and others like Robot Unicorn Attack, I think it is worth the price you pay. Maybe Marcus is out there eating his words or at the least, wishing he had copyrighted the name “Lame Castle.”
