Voice Chat Coming Soon to Dead Nation

Everyone knows it can be challenging to play co-op, especially in an action title, without voice chat functionality. While many PS3 users will use skype, it’s always nice when a game has that functionality built-in. The folks at Housemarque, developer of Dead Nation, have heard the call and plan to implement Voice Chat for online co-op in the near future.

The team posted a note explaining that they’re working on the patch and will let everyone know as soon as they have a date of release for it:

“We know some of you are frustrated by the lack of voice chat support in Dead Nation’s online co-op mode. We realize many players have been very eager to join up and start taking care of the zombie nation and we greatly appreciate the continued support. Therefore, the team is currently working on the addition of voice chat capability and hope to introduce it as quickly as possible.”

If you haven’t already checked the game out, you might want to give it a try. Our very own Eric Galaviz gave it a 9/10.
