Free Assassin’s Creed DLC On The Way
Ubisoft is rewarding fans of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood early with downloadable content. The best part: it’s FREE. PlayStation 3 owners have already received the exclusive Copernicus mission pack, available through the PlayStation Network, so this only adds more sauce. The latest DLC will be available to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users through PSN and Xbox Live.
The Animus Project Update 1.0 will feature a new multiplayer game mode as well as a new map. The new mode, Advanced Alliance, will be a more challenging version of the original Alliance Mode with players split into three teams with two players on each team. The new map, Mont Saint-Michel, is set in Normandy, France and will require plays to make use of free-running and the map’s narrow streets.
Sebastien Puel, executive producer at Ubisoft Montreal stated, “We are very thrilled to be able to offer the first Multiplayer DLC for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood for absolutely free. We wanted to say thank you to our fans for making Brotherhood such a huge success its opening week. We are very proud of the unique and innovative Multiplayer mode it offers, and hope the fans enjoy the new content.”
The new DLC is set for release on December 14, 2010.
