Remastered Prince of Persia Sands of Time Trilogy Coming Soon

The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Trilogy, one of the PlayStation 2′s best-known series, is coming soon to the PlayStation Network remastered in HD. Unfortunately for North American gamers, the boxed version of these games is an exclusive European release. The games came to light in Ubisoft’s first half 2010-2011 financial reports. These remastered versions are exclusive to the PlayStation 3.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot also hinted that the Splinter Cell trilogy remastered could also be coming soon.

The European release of Prince of Persia is this Friday, so expect the North American release to follow soon after.
