Final Fantasy Artist in Open Art Gallery

In the Open Art gallery of Ebisu, Tokyo, Final Fantasy fans will be happy to know that Yoshitaka Amano will be holding an open memorial exhibition November 17, 2010. The “ART STATEMENTS TOKYO” exhibit features Yoshitaka Amano’s past and modern images with differing impressions. The exhibition has paintings has of various types - on canvas, aluminum, overlapping layers of paint colors, etc. It’s like a painting that depicts the same process of a car. Many of the works by Yoshitaka Amano are inspired by myths added with his own interpretations.

For those that wondered about Yoshitaka Amano’s creative works, you may notice his artwork throughout the entire Final Fantasy series. For non-Final Fantasy fans, you may notice it in Beyond Good & Evil 2 or El Dorado Gate. However, I have to say that aside from his Final Fantasy designs, he’s most known for his works in the graphic novel Vampire Hunter D.
