EA Reveals Madden as Launch 3DS Title
Today it was announced that Electronic Arts, Inc. will be publishing Madden NFL Football for the eagerly awaited Nintendo 3DS in the first-half of 2011. The first EA Sports title to be available on the 3DS, Madden NFL Football plans on delivering 3D gameplay to provide a robust and authentic NFL experience familiar to the popular and successful football video game franchise.
The handheld installment will offer many worthwhile modes, not limited to the authentic 11-on-11 gameplay, quick paced 5-on-5 gameplay, and a Season Mode. The “Spotlight Moments” feature will make the most of the 3D graphics. While “Call Your Shots” will use the 3D graphics, it also plans to utilize the 3DS Touch Screen to allow players to draw their own plays right on the screen.
The game offers three types of play calling: GameFlow, Classic, and Arcade, for players of all skill levels. GameFlow picks the best play for whatever the situation is at hand based on real NFL team gameplans, making the game more accessible by shortening game length. Classic gives players full depth experience in choosing their formation and individual plays. Arcade simplifies options with a more concentrated playbook. Each of the 32 teams and stadiums will be brought to life with a presentation optimized just for 3D viewing, complete with 3D specific cameras to give the title new levels of depth.
With all these features, Madden NFL Football should be the perfect game for all football fans especially those who play on the go. Madden NFL Football is rated “E” for everyone by the ESRB and is slated for release in the first-half of 2011. For more information regarding this game, please visit www.maddennfl.easports.com.
