No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise Announced for the PS3
Today Konami announced that No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise will be making its debut on the PlayStation 3 in 2011. The title that was exclusive to the Wii is now making its way exclusively on the PS3 in beautiful HD. Heroes’ Paradise will also feature PlayStation Move support, which I assume will control much like the Wii version. No More Heroes is one of the best franchises on the Wii featuring over-the-top violence and corny lines. The main characters name, Travis Touchdown, and the way he’s holding that Beam Katana should tell you all you need to know about the game.
For those who played the Wii title, the PS3 version not only boasts HD visuals but will also include brand new features and new bosses. Here is a summary of the Heroes’ Paradise courtesy of Konami.
“In No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, players journey through the sunny city of Santa Destroy as Travis Touchdown, battling to eliminate some of the world’s deadliest assassins. Equipped with a razor sharp Beam Katana sword, players start off as the 11th ranked assassin and try to move up the ranks to position themselves as the ultimate killer. During the course of the game, players encounter Sylvia, a mysterious woman from the United Assassins Association, who arranges fights with other higher ranked assassins to help Travis become the number one in the world. Players will either ride through the town on Travis’ trusty motor bike or travel on foot to arrive at Travis’ next assignment.”
No More Heroes is an open world game where you can complete side missions on your way to each assassination, to increase Travis’ skills along with being able to upgrade his weapon in the lab. Along with the side missions new modes will be added which include “Rebout Mode” where you can challenge former bosses you have taken out, and “Viewer Mode” which allows you to watch all the cut scenes. Those without a PS Move will be able to play the title using the normal controller, but if it’s anything like the Wii, half the fun is in the motion controls.
No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise is slated to release in 2011 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. For now check out the first set of screen shots.

Small nitpick, but technically this is just an import with move support, the game released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan in April.
