Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Demo Out Now

The Need for Speed Blog announced that the demo for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will arrive on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network sometime today. The demo is going live two weeks before the November 16th release date, giving excited fans a chance to check out the highly anticipated racing title. On top of that, players will also receive 500 bounty points to put toward advancing their Cop and Racer careers once they get the retail version in hand.

In the demo you’ll get a chance to try the new Autolog system, an in-game social network which tracks your performance against your friends. The demo itself will have two different races, one which will remain hidden until the player adds another person to their Autolog friends list. The other race type gives players a chance to polish their badges and take out as many racers as possible as a member of Seacrest County’s finest.

Get ready to fire up those engines, and I’ll see you out on the streets.
