Square Enix: Deus Ex Franchise to Last 10 Years

In recent interview, developers from Square Enix (widely known for the Final Fantasy series), stated that they plan on continuing their Deus Ex franchise for the next decade as Square Enix attempts to become one of the top three game publishers. Honestly, if you’re trying to rebuild a franchise to boost your business, Deus Ex seems like an excellent place to start. Check below to see what Square Enix had to say regarding the topic.

In an interview with MCV, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada stated, “We have dozens of IPs, some of which we wish to build into franchises. Deus Ex 3 is something we’re trying to revive… We want to keep on producing profit from that IP for the next ten years.”

If Deus Ex: Human Revolution is as good as it looks, then Square Enix should have no problem developing this game into a larger franchise.
