Keyboard No Longer Included in PS3 Rockband 3 Bundle
Due out on October 26, Harmonix’s Rock Band 3 will be coming out on multiple consoles, including the Xbox 360, the Wii, and the PS3. The rhythmic music video game has become a fan favorite with its list of popular rock songs and playable instruments, allowing players to have their choice between the bass, guitar, drums, microphone, and keyboard.
The latest installment in the Rock Band series, the 25-key midi keyboard, was supposed to be included in the $130 bundle. Though the Xbox 360 and the Wii will be receiving the whole package, the PS3 has been left in the dust, in North America, at least. To make it a bit more confusing - or enlightening, if any of you can figure it out - the reason for the keyboard missing in the Sony bundle is supposedly due to agreement terms in the region. I, for one, am a bit confused as to how a keyboard can be missing in a bundle when all other gaming platforms managed to get it. Even all the other countries with the PS3 agreements managed to get it, except North America. Moreover, this is a recent change, as previously, pre-orders for the bundle (including the Keyboard) were being taken for PS3. Right now, most retailers are offering those who did reserve the PS3 bundle some compensation (for example, offering them the PS3 bundle plus a stand-alone keyboard for the same bundle price).
Harmonix did not elaborate on what the issues were in North America’s “agreement terms,” but has explained that the keyboard can be purchased separately for the PS3 individually.
If anyone has an explanation for this confusion, feel free to enlighten the rest of us.

That is… bizarre. o_o And makes no sense at all!
If I get Rock Band 3 I’ll get the game bundled with the keyboard for the 360, but not right away. :<
