Tales of the Abyss May Be Hitting the 3DS

The eighth addition to the Tales series, Namco had released Tales of the Abyss back in October 2006 on the PS2. Now there has been news that the game will be making its ways to the 3DS in Japan “in full 3D glory”. There has yet to be news of its release in North America and Europe. Don’t lose hope though, the 3DS has yet to even receive a measly release date in North America - so who knows what will happen?

For those who don’t quite recall, Tales of the Abyss is about a world ruled by “Yulia’s Prophecy”. In this prophecy, it was foretold that a young man will be needed in order to bring unprecedented prosperity. This young man comes in the form of Luke Fon Fabre, son and heir to a noble family, who was kidnapped at a young age. Since his return, he had been confined in his family’s manor, for his own safety, causing him to be selfish and ignorant of the world.
