Konami to Hold Live Stream for This Year’s Pro Evolution Soccer Finals

Konami today announced the first-ever live stream of this year’s Pro Evolution Soccer Finals being held in Spain on September 25. The event features 40 of the best players from twenty-three countries including Mexico, Spain, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, the UK, France, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Korea, and the United States.
The competition can be viewed via this link on ustream and will kick off at 7 am PST. The finals will work just like a real soccer competition; players will be randomly selected into groups then two players from each group will advance to the knockout rounds. Viewers will be able to watch highlights of the 10 minute matches along with being able to take part in a chat so you can discuss what mistakes they made and any exploits they will undoubtably take advantage of. Fans will also be able to view the trophy ceremony at the end of the tournament. The next title in the franchise Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, is slated to release in October on PS3, 360, PSP and the Wii.
