Capcom says More Street Fighter Movies on the Horizon
Is releasing two critically bashed Street Fighter films enough to stop a determined gaming company from releasing more? Apparently not. It’s time for round three. According to Capcom, there will be further adaptations of their Street Fighter series hitting the big screen in the future.Despite two failed attempts already, Capcom still seems optimistic in regards to their Street Fighter film franchise.
According to Christian Svensson, Capcom’s vice president of strategic planning and business development, “The book is not yet done on Street Fighter film and video projects.” It’s a good thing to stay positive, Capcom! Will the next Street Fighter movie redeem the last two failures? Or will it continue to dig the movie franchise’s grave? I guess we will have to wait to find out! Good luck, Capcom.

Both Street Fighter films wre bad but I didn't mind that Van Damme one and that Legend Of Chun Li shouldn't be made at the start because of Hyde Park Entertainment and Capcom made stupid ideas on that, Hollywood just doesn't get things right and they should pay attention to the back story. So if Street Fighter movie should be a remake not reboot it just make the good SF movie with Ryu and Ken as the leads and I think Joey Ansah should be a fight cheographer for the movie because he's a SF fan so we need all fans to think that Ryu played by an Japanese martial artist and Ken played by long bloned dude and Chinese actress as Chun Li no Kristin Kreuk please.
So the Street Fighter movie needs to follow the backstory and follow the canon to the series.
Thank You.

AUSTRALIA.
street fighter should be done in a trilogy with
an option of making sf a spin off film. first film based on the
street fighter 2 plot with the original characters only, next film
should be a prequel based on street fighter alpha story lines with only
the characters from street alpha only and creating an origin story. next street fighter 4 story. hopefully
a 4th film based on the origins on ryu and ken and the legend of the
dark hadou (i dont think that story would work along side the alpha film
idea - too many plots in the series). so overall about four films or
more could be made with the right cast and crew and film studio/s, thats whats in my
head anyway.
listen,Let Fox 2000 and universal join Capcom to do Street Fighter Zero Origin Ryu and Ken on 2011
