E3 2010 EA Press Conference Live Tweet Recap

For those of you who missed joining in on our live tweeting of the EA Press Conference, here’s a recap of Tigresa’s live tweet stream from the event! There’s some deadly babies from Dead Space 2, a lack of Dragon Age wares, an amazing new Need for Speed title: Hot Pursuit 2, Madden action and more!

1. EA conference has started: Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 - 11/16/2010 rolls out first. Nice, that was the 2nd best NFS set too.

2. Haha, I just got a text message that says “I just came… Dream come true with the cars from the past game and the same great creators.

3. Dead Space 2 is tearing up the screen. Now with more (tasty?) killer babies.

4. We need to see less of camera panning to humans holding controllers and more focusing on the screen.

5. Medal of Honor (10/12/2025) 24 player demo just went up. Looked great, though similar to a lot of current FPS multiplayer.

6. Oh hell yes! Medal of Honor BETA June 21 on all consoles (360, PS3, PC) - Ho snap that’s hella soon!

7. Oh boy… EA Gun Club. That might get them some angry parent/press though. A rewards program for EA games… with guns. Unlocks in-gamery.

8. Brief teaser trailer for Battlefield Bad Company 2 expansion - Vietnam in Winter 2010.

9. SK Sports Nerd @TheHerp80 is sitting next to me: EA Live Broadcast is a nice feature but I don’t think a lot of people will get into it.

10. MMA needs to really amp up their fighting system to compete with THQ’s UFC franchise because the graphics surely can’t compete.

11. EA Sports Active 2… Looks like a lot of the same, and some Madden action hits the stage!

12. Madden 11 will not be deeper because there will always be a set of 10 plays that will work 80% of the time.

13. Gameflow is a nice feature especially for those who haven’t played Madden in years. With the gameplan it should cut down the game time to 25 min.

14. RT @Heart1lly Well…I can do all this stuff on the PC version of Sims 3.

15. RT @Heart1ly I still don’t see any reason to buy Sims 3 for the Xbox 360 when I have it on PC with the expansion packs…

16. RT @Heart1ly However, if you haven’t played the Sims yet and are curious, I encourage everyone to pick it up for the 360. Should be cool.

17. I can’t believe how good Crysis 2 looks. So crazy… Gotta get it on PC though to push my new gaming PC to the outer limits, yes!

18. @iamflip You have to pre-order Medal of Honor to get into the beta, EA is saying!

19. Being a Battlefield BC 2 VIP gets you in early to the MoH beta on the 17th.

20. Seeing this dude kick enemies into giant sparks and electrify them in Bulletstorm is killtacular.

21. Everybody gets their own starship in The Old Republic!

22. I don’t think I don’t to say much. The Old Republic is just going to be f%cking. Awesome.

23. Unfortunately… No Dragon Age or Mass Effect snips during the event… I’m super sad. And that’s the close of the EA Conference!
