New Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Maps Coming Soon

For players (like myself) who have yet to get their fill on Lost Planet 2, Capcom has given us a heads-up on some new multiplayer maps that will be available soon. The first of the two to be released, Dockyard Battle, is set in Episode 4’s battleship factory and will support up to sixteen players. The second is a returning map from the original Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Known as Frozen Wasteland, this map contains the signature tower and snowy trenches that will surely be familiar to series veterans.
The release of these two maps brings the total map count up to fourteen — an impressive number (particularly for this variety of game), which ought to offer a totally diverse selection for players who prefer specific weapon sets, skills, or gameplay modes. The two new maps will be available on June 1st for the price of $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points. More information on this map pack can be found at the Capcom Unity website.
