Capcom Highlights New Online Modes In Super Street Fighter IV

Sure, everyone’s excited about the announcement of Marvel VS Capcom 3 recently, but don’t forget in less than a week (April 27) Super Street Fighter IV will be released! You’re probably eager to play with all the new characters, figuring out their strengths, weaknesses, and chainable combos, but don’t forget about the new online modes! There’s even some new Avatar clothing coming to you Xbox 360 fighters.

Some new features shown are Team Battles, which include 4 on 4 versus action, and a Replay Mode to save and review your greatest victories. Need to study up on a certain opponent? Rewatch that devastating Tiger Uppercut until you know exactly how to counter it. Endless Battle looks to recreate the arcade glory days with a “winner stays” mentality, as opponents keep circling in and out, leaving the victor to continue and defend his streak. All this, and a free DLC Tournament Mode coming in June, the return of Bonus Stages (letting me relive my SNES youth) and new Avatar clothes, just in case you’re into having your digital self look like Zangief.
