Like District 9? Want God of War III?

According to the official PlayStation blog, these two crazy masterpieces have more in common than their appearances might dictate. For anyone buying the Blu-Ray of District 9 will get, on the same disc, a copy of the God of War III demo. In addition, anyone who finished the demo (how could you not finish a demo?), unlocks a special Making Of featurette for the game.

I’m not really sure what these two things have in common. One involves Greek Mythology and the other is about aliens. Maybe someone infinitely wiser than myself could find a connection. You can play them both on your PlayStation 3. I suppose that’s fairly exclusive!

God of War is owned by Sony. District 9 was distributed by TriStar. “TriStar Pictures, Inc. (spelled Tri-Star until 1991) is a film subsidiary of Columbia Pictures, itself a subdivision of the Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group, which is owned by Sony Pictures.” -Wikipedia

That’s a real six degrees of separation.
