The previously announced Left 4 Dead 2 DLC, The Passing, has been given a late March release window for both Xbox 360 and PC versions. In a nutshell if you haven’t already read about it is that it will consist of the new team of survivors (Rochelle, Ellis, Nick and Coach) meeting up with ye olde L4D crew (Zoey, Louis, Bill and Francis) who will be non-playable characters that you meet up with during the campaign. A new uncommon infected will be added to the new campaign as well called the Fallen Survivors. These are those genius rat-bastard humans who thought they were immune to the infection and… weren’t. Valve has mentioned these infected will drop items such as med-packs or ammo.

Everyone knows the old saying – “Two heads are better than one.”  For the most part, it’s true.  Get more people thinking about something, and everyone benefits – you get more and different opinions that might help you shape the way you think about… well, anything.  It’s with this mindset that we go into our Two Brains review, where Tigresa and Snarkasaur have had a meeting of the minds to discuss Left 4 Dead 2 for the both the Xbox 360 and PC.

I just jumped onto Xbox Live today and did my routine new demo check to surprisingly find that the Left 4 Dead 2 demo has been added for all Xbox Live Gold users! A pre-order downloadable code is no longer required to go barrel-to-face. The demo is co-op and lets you try out The Parish campaign to get a feel for the new melee weapons and characters before you make your ultimate decision to pick up Left 4 Dead 2 this month. Even the boycotters jumped ship after getting a taste of the demo.

What was once known to be a glorified Microsoft exclusive, Valve’s hit franchise Left 4 Dead (you’ve heard about the sequel, haven’t you?) may or may not be shelving onto the library of the PS3 this Fall. Today EA, being the publisher of Left 4 Dead, posted up some placeholder pack art for L4D2 for the PS3 on their website filed under both the “Upcoming games” category of their site, as well as on the game information page for L4D.
