Final Fantasy VII is one of the most celebrated video games in the world. Many people believe (with very compelling reasons) that it ushered in a rebirth of Japanese Role-Playing Games in the United States. The game sold roughly ten million copies across the globe, making a strong argument to the title’s quality. Additionally, millions gamers have played it, and it seems that nearly all of them loved the experience.

ffviiThe PSOne Classic that everyone has been asking for has just today come to the United States Playstation Network. In an unusual turn, also included amongst today’s PSN update was a trailer for Final Fantasy VII, in case someone has actually gone these twelve years without seeing or hearing about the game. The game, considered by (too) many to be the best in existence, can be obtained for the low-low price of 10$ US.

crisisimg1Final Fantasy VII remains one of my absolute favorite RPGs to date.  I share this sentiment with many other gamers, I’m sure. While some may disregard the classic as little more than a normal RPG, I continued to be entranced each and every time I replay it. Square Enix’s recent projects aiming to rekindle and expand interest in Final Fantasy VII’s lore have inspired me to dive right back in. After viewing Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, I finally got to pick up Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. The wait was much too long for my tastes, but now that I have gotten to spend some quality time with such a fantastic game, I am certain that this journey back into the world of Final Fantasy VII is well worth your time, especially if you’ve been a fan of the numbered entry since its inception.
