If you’re a big fan of Left 4 Dead and amazingly high-quality video game statue-figure thingies, you’re in luck. I happened upon a site called GamingHeads.com and their work is pricey and amazing. “Gaming Heads” is currently offering a very stunning line of authentically recreated video game statues, one of which is a heavily mutated bastard, pro at appearing at the most inopportune moment—a fifteen inch, poly-stone Tank. The hefty price tag is more than hefty, but the hand-painted and hand-finished statue is not only disgustingly gorgeous, but unique and limited with only 300 pieces available worldwide.

If you are a huge Dragon Age fan, you will probably want to check out the latest pictures of the new Dragon Age: Origins figures.  With the exception of Morrigan, they look pretty good with a fair amount of detail.  I don’t know what happened to Morrigan’s face, but Duncan and Loghain look as though they jumped straight out of the game.  The figures go on sale on September 29th.

If you want one of these figures when they come out, you’ll need to contact your local comic retailer for availability and price.  Each figure stands around 5-6 inches high.  Set one includes Duncan, Loghain, Morrigan and Genlock.  There’s no word on whether we’ll be getting a series two featuring Alistair, Wynne and Oghren yet, but one can only hope.  DC has released video game figures before in the past, and are currently working on God of War figures.

sephiSquare-Enix remembers their fans outside of Japan less often then we’d like. I just got word that they remembered that we are just as obsessive a bunch as their motherland’s fans. They have announced a set of full-color, intricately detailed PVC figures making their way to Square-Enix’s USA store. Normally I would just glaze over this as a collection of incoming overpriced paperweights to pretty up my desk space, but they are overwhelmingly gorgeous figures of some of their headline characters from Final Fantasy’s Sephiroth, Kingdom Hearts‘ Sora (in his Halloweentown getup!) and even Edward and Alphonse from the hit anime and manga series Fullmetal Alchemist. Hit the jump for screenshots of some of the announced figures to hit the e-shelves of Square-Enix this week! Word on the streets says they might even be affordable, too. So how much do you think these figures are worth?
