First Screens, Debut Trailer and Release Date Announced for MLB 11 The Show
Recently Sony released the first screen shots and the first trailer for the upcoming baseball sim, MLB 11 The Show. This year, MLB 10 The Show, was clearly the best baseball title on the market and one of the best games this year. Sony looks to improve, yet again on their successful franchise by improving player models and faces, improving the Road to The Show and bringing us new controls. The trailer and new screen shots shows off all the new graphics along with some new stadium specific camera angles. Along with the new screens and trailer, comes the announcement of the release date and final box art.
Here is the boxart for MLB 11 The Show, which displays a 3D and PlaySation Move sticker, and Sony has brought back former MVP Joe Mauer:
The trailer, which features my home town World Series Champs San Francisco Giants, also takes gamers to Texas and New York, showing off the improved crowd graphics and player models.
The gallery below will showcase some of the same graphical improvements and thanks to operationsports.com, we have comparison shots to show the huge improvements. MLB 11 The Show, at least in terms of looks, is shaping up to be yet another amazing title. As you saw in the trailer, the title is set to release on March 8, 2011, just before the season starts up again.
